Formed in 2023, the Couch Quintet is a vibrant young ensemble known for its colorful interpretations of a wide array of musical genres. Based in Los Angeles, the group was founded on a common desire to create community through music. The ensemble features flutist Elvin Schlanger, oboist Soli Jones, clarinetist Julian Rymar, bassoonist Miles Mateus, and horn player Jeff Gumpertz.
