Who we are

Golden Hour Chamber Music brings together local musicians, composers, and ensembles to create meaningful musical connections and new collaborative projects. The series celebrates the joy of making chamber music with and for the community by offering free, accessible performances that highlight both established and emerging artists. Through thoughtful programming, shared artistry, and a commitment to local talent, Golden Hour fosters an environment where collaboration thrives and audiences can experience chamber music that is intimate, engaging, and welcoming to all.

Our Vision

Access & Belonging: Our concerts are always free and welcoming. Everyone should feel invited and comfortable in musical spaces.
Collaboration: We center partnerships—between musicians, composers, students, schools, neighborhoods, organizations, and communities.
Education: We are building educational offerings, including open rehearsals, workshops, composer and student collaborations, and mentorship opportunities.
Creation: We arrange and premiere new works each season, supporting emerging and established composers alike.
Growth with Intention: Our program is expanding thoughtfully, adding musicians, repertoire, and initiatives in a way that supports long‑term stability and meaningful artist relationships.
Community Care: Open minds, humane rehearsal practices, and respectful environments are essential to us.

To build a sustainable, community‑driven musical home where anyone can experience the warmth,  joy, and love of collaborative chamber music, regardless of financial, educational, or cultural barriers.
